Just like that, the 2010 Capital Area Handbell Festival has come and gone. The concert went well ... a little shaky, but that tends to be the case when you throw twenty-some-odd choirs together and try to put on a performance of mostly level 3 music, all in one day. My wife and I had a great time ringing, even if our own performances weren't quite what we would have liked. Still, that's the great thing about festivals -- even if you make a complete mess of things, there are fifteen or twenty other people all playing the same thing as you who will cover your mistakes.
I thought seriously about getting some audio or video from the event, but in the end, I decided just to enjoy the festival and let you all live vicariously through my words here on The Creative.
