Saturday Summary, January 14, 2012

I'm finding it really hard to believe that it's Saturday again.  This past week has just flown by.  That usually means -- and this week is no exception -- that not much happened on the creative front.  Still, feel free to read on to see just how little happened ...

Music -- I did get a bit of music composed, but not as much as I would have liked.  I threw together a couple of short things for my wife's classes at school, as well as worked on a longer handbell arrangement, but otherwise all was quiet.  However, with this impending three-day weekend, I'm hopeful I can get quite a lot written before heading back to The Real World on Tuesday.

Writing -- I did an awful lot of reading this week (I lay the blame squarely on my Kindle Fire), but not any writing.  I hope to start back with looking at Fealty and Fire before the month is out, perhaps even this weekend, since I've got a bit of extra time to do so.

Publishing -- The biggest (and only) movement I had on this front was the discussion with Bill Ingram where we decided we're going to change the title of my just-accepted arrangement of Now Thank We All Our God to simply Thanksgiving.  Other than that, there was nothing at all here.

With a wide-open Saturday looming before me, I'm hopeful next week's Summary will be much more interesting.  Have a great weekend, if you're the lucky sort who has Monday off, enjoy it, and happy creating!
