Every Saturday, The Creative will feature a brief post about my current creative efforts and how they are progressing. If this doesn't interest you, read no further -- not only will I not be offended, I'll never know.
The weeks seem to be just flying by. It seems like I was just here for this, and now I'm back. That should be a sign of just how crazy the week was. Extra to do at school, combined with gearing up for the first Sunday back for our choir at church, combined with handbell rehearsals starting up again, has meant less time this week for being creative. It'll get better once I get acclimated to the schedule, I know, but for now, it makes my job this morning painfully easy...
Music -- I worked on a handbell piece in fits and starts this week but didn't actually finish anything. With this being a free Saturday, I hope to forge ahead on it later today.
Writing -- I did receive back Fealty and Fire from one of my early readers. Once I get the rest of the copies back, I'll incorporate their edits and then have another go at it myself before I deem it fit for human consumption.
I also started selling The Coming of the Heroes to some of the students at school this week (with a large portion of the price going back to the school library as a donation), so I'm now up to maybe around 40 people world-wide who've purchased my book. If you'd like to join them, you can purchase it here, or by using the links at the left of the page.
Publishing -- All quiet on the publishing front this week.
That's it from here. I'll be hoping for more and better news next week, and in the meantime, if any of my six or seven readers out there has anything they'd like me to write about Wednesday (my last several posts have all been inspired by some of my readers here and I've gotten spoiled), feel free to let me know. In the meantime, have a wonderful week, and keep creating!
